Nautch – girl.
Nautch – girl. 1862. A native woman poses with her sari, spreading it open on her head, possibly part of a dance performance. Two accompanying male musicians with traditional instruments can also be seen sitting near her. The string instrument is most likely a Sarangi. The percussion instrument is a dhol.
